Characters Challengers of the Unknown [Ace Morgan; Rocky Davis; Prof Haley; Red Ryan]; The Challenger Corps; Anthony Dragio; Tom Kaloki; Korba; The Iron Emperor; The Totem
Synopsis The Challengers are summoned by a surprise group, the Challengers Corps, an auxiliary force of civilians saved by the team in the past. They'll be the "eyes and ears" for the team. Soon a message comes from a CC member of ships disappearing. Boating to the area, the Challs' boat is sucked into a gyre. A robot arm dumps them on an island with replicas of world monuments: the Eiffel Tower, pyramids, Tower of Pisa. The "ruler" is Korba, a villain without a country. He uses slaves to build "his world". The heroes are pushed into an arena to fight a giant robot, the Iron Emperor. Ace ducks to their boat and grabs the Challengers' super-gear: Prof's super-diving suit, Red's electro-suit, Ace's jetpack, and new "power gloves" for Rocky. Rocky wallops the Iron Emperor. But they awaken an ancient "totem" of three weird monsters. Red zaps a tentacled horror with electricity on the Eiffel Tower. Rocky spanks a roller-horror out to sea with a plank. Prof drops the Tower of Pisa on a bomb-shooter. The slaves are freed and Korba goes to jail.
