Synopsis Thunder and Lightning are working security at S.T.A.R. Labs. They find a team of scientists trapped under electrical equipment, live cables blocking their way. Lightning takes care of the cables, while Thunder frees the scientists. A bolt from the floor below catches their attention. Below, in Alysia Damalis' psych labs, Albert Michaels is overcome by his Atomic Skull persona. Frances Kane, a.k.a. Magenta, tries to stop him from destroying the lab, but he almost succeeds in killing her. Thunder and Lightning have arrived to stop him. Dr. Damalis tells Magenta that she can end the fight if Frances can separate the combatants. Magenta does so, and Dr. Damalis speaks the word "Goldilocks" to the Atomic Skull, causing him to change back into Albert Michaels. She takes him off, while Magenta has lunch with Thunder and Lightning. Magenta tells them of her past and how she doesn't want her powers. They are interrupted by Dr. Damalis, who tells Magenta to take the rest of the day off. The doctor explains that she's a superman psychiatrist and is creating a "new" Dr. Michaels. She convinces Lightning to partake in some psychotherapy, injecting him with a drug. He dreams that he is being attacked by soldiers. In another room, Thunder feels his pain. He bursts into Dr. Damalis' office and takes Lightning away. An unidentified voice instructs Alysia to kill Thunder and Lightning. Dr. Damalis goes to the phone and makes a call. Frances Kane answers. The doctor says "Rumpelstiltskin," and Frances says "Yeah, Doc, this is Magenta. Who do you want me to kill?"
