5 page story "They Fly By Night"

Synopsis A boy's parents are killed by a vampire during a trip to Hungary and he survives because the vampire is too sated to drain his blood. He returns to America, but continues to have dreams of his parents begging him to return to Hungary so that they can always be together forever and ever. Once he becomes a young man, he returns armed with stakes to the hotel room in the village his parents were killed in and waits to slay the vampire when it returns for him. He is surprised to encounter his parents who have been turned. They offer to turn him, too, and reveal to him that they have been the source of those calls in his dreams. He walks towards the two of them and the story leaves it up to the reader to choose whether he stakes them or submits to their dark embrace.
