Synopsis A clone of Luther Manning comes back in time from 1991 (this changes to 1993 in issue #288) to find the Deathlok cyborg; Steve is supposed to be spending a weekend at Bernies (come on, that's funny) when they almost run down Manning; Cap follows him into an abandoned Brand Corp. building where they come up against Brand soldiers and Deathlok himself.

Synopsis Items about how Al Milgrom has quit editing except for Marvel Fanfare and is now focusing on his jobs as writer/artist (exclusively for Marvel) and spending time with his family, Carl Potts is now editing The Defenders, Doctor Strange and the Hulk and is putting out the new title Alien Legion later this year, Tom DeFalco has been moved up to Executive Editor and is charge of many things, including editing movie adaptations and special projects such as Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Life of Pope John Paul II and will be developing new titles and series, possibly including a line of comics for young kids, former assistant editor Danny Fingeroth has been moved up to replace Tom DeFalco as editor of the Amazing Spider-Man, the Spectacular Spider-Man, Marvel Team-Up and Marvel Tales while continuing to edit Ka-Zar and the assistant editors will be in charge of the comics produced for sale in September as the regular editors will all be out of town for conventions (and this worries Jim Shooter who thinks there is a conspiracy by them that will result in some strange comics in September). Also includes what appears to be a self-portrait of Carl Potts. Marvel checklist for comics listed with a synopsis are Avengers #236, Cloak & Dagger #1, The New Mutants #8, Marvel Tales #156, Marvel Team-Up #134, What If #41, Marvel Team-Up Annual #6, Marvel Super Special (Krull) #28, The Kree/Skrull War #2, Coyote #3 and Marvel Graphic Novel (Dazzler: The Movie!) #8.
