Synopsis A scientist, who is bitter at having his ideas rejected, succeeds in developing a corrosive that melts automobiles. He plans to extort money for the counter agent, but has a change of heart when a dollar bill touches the corrosive and burns, thinking that it may be a sign of what could happen if a dictator gets control of his formula. He destroys the formula and resolves to work for the benefit of mankind.

Synopsis A young man knocks over a vase and lies about it to his mother. He keeps the pieces in a sack because his conscience bothers him. When he tells his wife forty years later about the lie she reaches into the sack and pulls out the miraculously restored vase.

Synopsis Three men think they are playing a trick on an old man by broadcasting radio messages that he picks up and believes to be from another planet. They try to send him another message, but something blocks the transmission, and when they break down his door he is missing with only a message pad on the table that says "They have come for me at last!"
