Every time Spider-Man gets a new cartoon or comic
series there is always the obligatory origin tale. I understand why this is
done (there are new people picking up comics everyday) it’s just that
I’m personally bored with it. It was for this reason that I probably
screened Batman Begins with a jaded sense of expectancy. However, in the wake
of Iron Man, which is an origin tale and the best super-hero movie since the
Christopher Reeves Superman, I decided that I needed to re-watch Batman Begins
with an open mind.
