Runaway; Magneto calls Moira MacTaggert and asks for her help in evaluating his charges in the New Mutants and she agrees to come to the U.S. with Siryn and Madrox; Outside the mansion, the kids are playing a friendly, non-powered soccer game when Sam runs into Bobby and hurts him; In retaliation, Bobby activates his sunspot powers and throws Sam violently into a tree; Feeling down on himself and with all of his friends off at the hospital with Sam, Bobby enters Magneto's office to wait for his return but sees a confidential student file written by Professor X which seems to indicate that Xavier was worried Bobby would become arrogant and turn to evil like his father (who recently joined the Hellfire Club); Magneto and the kids return to find that Bobby has left an apologetic letter and run away; Warlock takes off to try and find him. 36 pages, full color. $0.75. I'll Take the High Road and I'll Take the Low Road and I'll Get to Sunspot Before Me; Bobby has run away from the New Mutants after hurting Sam badly and is trying to save his new friend, Chance, from a gang of knife wielding thugs when his powers blink off; Chance ditches him and runs through a doorway opened by Ariel, leaving Bobby to fend for himself; Warlock arrives to help his friend out of the jam but, when the duo try to go through the same door as Chance, they find it leads to an abandoned warehouse; The pair decide that they will now live the lives of super villains but find that life on the streets is not as easy as it seems; Meanwhile, back at the mansion, Magneto equips Siryn and Madrox with a portable Cerebro unit as the pair have volunteered to try and track down the wayward New Mutants; They catch up with Sunspot and Warlock just as the pair are being invited to join the Fallen Angels, a group of young street thieves led by the villainous Vanisher. 36 pages, full color. $0.75. Every Card Is Wild; Sunspot, Warlock and a number of Multiple Man dupes arrive at the Beat Street Club which is the secret headquarters of the Vanisher's Fallen Angels; They get acquainted with their new team and Gomi tells them his origin story which includes the creation of his cybernetic lobsters, Don and Bill; Ariel opens a doorway into the X-Factor complex and they retrieve missing member, Boom Boom; Siryn and Madrox track the Fallen Angels down and decide that the best way to keep an eye on Sunspot and Warlock is to join the group. 36 pages, full color. $0.75. Lost and Found; The Fallen Angels return to the Beat Street Club where a number of them discover that their powers have begun to act up; They modify their headquarters to accommodate their newest members, Devil Dinosaur and Moonboy; Vanisher sends the kids out to steal stuff and Boom Boom and Gomi discover a dupe of Jamie's that is living his own life and refuses to rejoin with Multiple Man; As the team gathers on the street to discuss the situation, Devil Dinosaur accidentally steps on mutant cybernetic lobster, Don, and kills him. 36 pages, full color. $0.75. The Coconut Grove; The Fallen Angels mourn the loss of cybernetic lobster, Don, who was accidentally stepped on by Devil Dinosaur and crushed; Fellow lobster, Bill, however is inconsolable and attacks Moonboy; Sunspot and Siryn have to step in to keep Devil Dinosaur from taking out a second lobster; During the aftermath, Warlock's mutant power shuts off and, since part of his power is the empathy and compassion that is alien to his violent race, he attacks the team; Boom Boom tries to stop Warlock with a time bomb but finds her powers are on the fritz as well; Jamie's independent dupe monitors all of this on a mini Cerebro unit and tells the team that it seems that they may have latent mutants in the group that are causing their current troubles. 36 pages, full color. $0.75. Triple Cross; The Fallen Angels arrive on Ariel's home world of the Coconut Grove, a gaudy entertainment based world where society has stagnated and mutation is all but unknown; After the members of the team get makeovers and let off a little steam, their powers once again erupt uncontrollably and the independent Madrox dupe tells them that the Cerebro unit is pointing to Chance as the probable culprit; The Angel's good time comes to an abrupt end as they find that Ariel and Chance have lured them into a trap; Unipar takes the team into custody so he can experiment on them and find out the secret of mutation. 36 pages, full color. $0.75. Grownups and Children; The Angels have been imprisoned on the world of Coconut Grove and had their powers nullified so Unipar can experiment on them and discover the secrets of their mutant genes; Only one Angel remains free--a cybernetic lobster; Bill takes on Unipar's soldiers and frees his friends; The team even decides to free Ariel; Unipar's plans undone, the Angels return to earth and the Beat Street Club to continue their lives; Realizing that he makes an even worse villain that he did a hero and having learned valuable lessons, Sunspot decides to return to the New Mutants. 36 pages, full color. $0.75.
