"Frozen Gold," script and art by Carl Barks; Donald flies penicillin to Point Marrow, Alaska, but a crook has stashed a stolen map to a gold mine in Donald's plane; When he reaches Alaska, Donald is kidnapped by two crooks and abandoned on the barrens; The nephews use a plane to rescue him. "Mystery of the Swamp," script and art by Carl Barks; Donald and the nephews go exploring in the Everglades, where they run afoul of strange little goblins called Gneezles; Donald tries to capture a Gneezle, but instead the ducks are captured by them, and are to be fed to the alligators.
