The U.S. Agent and Earth's Mightiest have a very rocky relationship; but when a mysterious citadel is discovered orbiting the Earth, they blast off into outer space together to investigate! Once inside the enormous citadel, the Avengers run into an old enemy: Ronan the Accuser! Meanwhile in Nebraska, Ego the living planet has landed...and he's growing exponentially! Cameo appearances by Dr. Peter Corbeau, Duane Freeman, Val Cooper, Piledriver, Reptyl, Jarvis, and Wonder Man. Flashback cameo by Empress Lilandra.
