    Shadow Magazine bound volume 30 collects six complete issues (June 1, 1939 to August 15, 1939) of the bi-monthly magazine. This volume features these classic Shadow stories: "Smugglers of Death," "City of Shadows," "Noose of Death," "Death From Nowhere," "Isle of Gold," and "Wizard of Crime." The June 1 cover features a blonde disguised as The Shadow. The six bound copies in this volume contain tear and crease free, "newsstand-fresh" covers that retain their original brightness. The page quality on all is creamy and supple with tanning and slightly brittle edges. Due to the binding process, the interior magazines were trimmed, and the top layer of the spines were removed and are hidden by the hardcover's spine, which has a gold inlay that denotes the title, volume number, and issue dates. These wonderfully preserved bound magazines would make fantastic additions to any pulp enthusiast's library. The grade provided is for the overall condition of the volume itself.
