    Adventures of Ceresota, published in 1912, is a promotional giveaway with excellent period art. Not a true comic, but exhibits many proto-comic features. In alternating full page illustrations and text pages, the adventures of a little boy, Ceresota (the personification of Ceresota Flower), is told as he encounters personages from history and mythology. Distributed by the Southwestern Consilidated Milling Co., maker of Ceresota Flower and other baking products. 52 pages, alternating color pages with line drawn pages to be water-colored, 8-in. x 6-in., printed on good paper stock, not newsprint, no cover price.
