This early superhero title was one of the comics that made publisher Lev Gleason a major player during the Golden Age. Sniffer and the Deadly Dozen join the Army, using their strange abilities in exchange for pardons at the end of World War II - perhaps moved by the real-life unit that also inspired the film "The Dirty Dozen." Apache superhero the Bronze Terror is framed by an impostor during the shooting of the Bronze Terror movie, in a story with art (and a particularly cool splash page) by Dick Briefer. Two stories with early art by Archie creator Bob Montana. Also featuring a Daredevil PSA for Savings Bonds and Stamps, a WWII fundraising drive. Curious tickle-bondage cover by Charles Biro, featuring an exceptionally hideous villain.
