Beatty's art is pretty well done, on par or better than amateur art found in a lot of comic fanzines. The story follows a chiropractor named Brian David Palmer who is found worthy by a cosmic being who grants him the Power of the Universe which transform him into Backman! With his new yin-yang powers, Backman must keep balance in the world by squashing the plans of Discord, a group bent on destroying the order of the universe. But will Backman's yin-yang be enough to stop Discord's evil schemes when he runs into the atomic-bomb-freak twin brothers, The Brute and The Babe! 8 1/8" x 10 3/4", full color, 20 pages.
