Batman arrives, and after mentioning he has met three different Legions, he tells Superman what he found in Gotham. Two bodies, that turn out to be Una and Karate Kid. Their bodies have been dumped on a street in Gotham. Their flight ring alarms go off; Starman has signaled. After going to visit him, he warns Superman in a cryptic fashion about what is going to happen. Back in the Fortress, the bodies are loaded into a time bubble. Lightning Lad thanks Superman for being like a brother, and then gives him a new flight ring before taking off. The unseen narrator is revealed as the Time Trapper.
