Synopsis In the present, Starman digs up a body from a grave marked by a tombstone engraved with the name Kent. Back in the future, Impulse joins the fight against Superboy-Prime. From the middle of the fight, the Time Trapper snatches the Legion founders and Superman and takes them to the end of time. Back in the 31st century, Brainiac 5 takes his counterparts, Light Lass, and Gates to Superman's fortress where they are met by Polar Boy's team. Superboy-Prime arrives in the Arctic at a crucial moment in Brainiac's efforts, but other Legionnaires delay Prime long enough for Superboy to emerge from the Kryptonian regeneration chrysalis. At the end of time, however, the Time Trapper assures his audience that he knows how this war will end because he is Superboy-Prime.
