Synopsis Four years ago: The Plutonian holds a press conference on the White House lawn to introduce the costumed crimefighters who have appeared in the wake of his own debut — and their union as The Paradigm. Today: Charybdis moves to eliminate Encanta, but Qubit intercedes and brings her to a safe house where he compels her to reveal her last interaction with Modeus. The US military brass institutes Project Ultimatum, summoning an as-yet-unnamed creature as a fail-safe against Earth's rogue superhumans. Samsara appears to awaken and embrace The Plutonian. Charybdis informs a small news crew on the site of the demolished White House that he will now be known as The Survivor and that The Paradigm will take The Plutonian down.
