Synopsis The Nega-Bomb explodes, killing 98% of the Kree in the process; Quasar arrives and finds Thor alive but many of the Avengers dead from the blast; On the Kree homeworld, Deathbird finds Captain America alive; Vision and Wonder Man, caught in the center of the explosion are also found alive; Starfox discovers that the seemingly dead Avengers have been put in stasis by Sersi and are returned to life; Cap and Deathbird confront the Supreme Intelligence who tells them that this destruction is all part of his plan for a tougher Kree race; The Avengers gather on Hala where they are confronted by Atlas and Minerva and reunited with Cap; Atlas destroys himself as he realizes he has been duped into playing a part in the destruction of his people; The Avengers are split down the middle as half want to take out the Supreme Intelligence and the rest refuse to kill; Iron Man leads the members of his faction into the Kree leader's citadel and, after a short battle with old foes conjured by the Supreme Intelligence, destroy him; Lilandra shows up and claims the remnants of the Kree empire for the Shi'ar and puts her sister, Deathbird, in charge; The Avengers return to earth with hard feelings among them; A Skrull starship gathers a shard of the Supreme Intelligence that has survived and takes off.
