Synopsis Nina Justis, ambush reporter, was debunked as an "alien abductee" by the Challengers (COTU V3 2). Nina sets out to film a documentary exposing the Challengers. Rocky Davis, former Challenger, refuses to talk. So does Sarah Hargate, the Challs' office manager. Nina interviews dozens of people from Challenger relatives to civilians they've saved. No clear picture of the heroes emerges. Finally Nina's "docudrama" airs on TV, showing a iffy recreation of the Challengers' plane disaster and light sighting. Ironically, Nina is plucked up to a spaceship and grilled by machine-aliens about the Challengers! When she's dropped back on Earth, a cop just laughs at her "alien abduction" story.
