Notes It is revealed for the first time in this story that the Spider was a member of the SSoV in the 1940s. Batman is show with the wrong chest logo. Wonder Woman and Hawkman are shown to have been involved in the SSoV case Pat relates, though according to then-current DC continuity they did not exist. The story re-tells many of the events of Justice League of America (DC, 1960 series) #100-102 and of several issues of Infinity, Inc. (DC, 1984 series) from Pat Dugan's point of view. The seeming appearances of possibly a new Crimson Avenger and new Spider in the epilogues are never followed up on before the end of the series.
