Synopsis Beast is on vacation from the Defenders and heads to Hollywood to hang out with old Avenger's pal, Wonder Man; Dazzler, whose singing career was ruined when the world learned she was a mutant, is attending a party when she is approached by Alexander Flynn who wants her to perform at an experimental underground theater; Tired of being out of the limelight, she agrees and signs a contract with Hugo Longride; Hank and Simon run into Dazzler at another party and are disgusted by the sleazy new company she is keeping; Dazzler's powers begin to erupt out of control and she abruptly disappears; Beast tracks her down at the Heartbreak Hotel and promises to take care of her in her time of need.
