Characters Green Lantern [Hal Jordan]; Martian Manhunter [J'onn J'onzz]; Flash [Barry Allen]; Wonder Woman [Earth-1]; Aquaman; Superman [Earth-1]; Batman [Earth-1]; Snapper Carr (all as the Justice League of America/JLA); Amazo (intro, origin, villain); Professor Ivo (intro, villain); Mirror Master (cameo)
Synopsis As several of the members of the JLA experience a sudden loss of power, Flash discovers that a thief has used powers like theirs to pull off the robberies of a European catfish and a cicada. Snapper suggests the thefts have to do with someone researching immortality, and the JLA splits up to investigate other long-lived creatures. In every case, the JLAers come up against an android named Amazo, who steals their powers, defeats them, and takes them to his creator Professor Ivo's lab. Using the information Amazo gathered, Ivo prepares an immortality serum for himself, then has Amazo use Green Lantern's ring to wipe the minds of the now powerless heroes. But Green Lantern is able to use the weakness of his own ring against Amazo and Ivo, restore the JLA's powers, and defeat the villain.
