Characters Challengers of the Unknown [Ace Morgan; Rocky Davis; Prof Haley; Red Ryan]; Villo; Brainex; the Brutals.
Synopsis In a Mongolian palace, the Challengers battle ogres called The Brutals. Rocky ducks behind a gong and BANGS it. The vibrations return the Brutals to harmless tribesmen. A "sinister-looking stranger" changed them. Must be Villo, "the World's Vilest Villain"... In Villo's Villa, Villo watches via Brainex's TV monitor. Man and computer bicker about who's more brilliant at setting traps. Yet the Challs' teamwork covers up their weaknesses. Brainex displays time-past images of pre-Chall days. Ace is fearless as a fighter pilot. An alarm sounds as the Challs rush the mobile Villa. Brainex releases giant evil versions of the Challs. They pound the Challs, then vanish as the Villa soars away. Except Ace is dead! The Villa hides under the ocean. They review Prof's past, but he's brave and infallible. The Challs approach in their Gallopin' Gizmo, which can fly underwater. The Challs are ray-blasted. Rocky strangles a two-headed serpent, except it's Prof and Red. And Red's dead! Villo and Brainex review Red's past: he once dumped a Yeti off a cliff. But Rocky is a mental lightweight: the team's weakness! Meanwhile Rocky's torn up over Red's death. Prof has a plan. Diving again, Rocky rips off Prof's mask and enters Villo's Villa, a victim of rapture of the deep - except Rocky was faking and hammers Villo! Prof sneaks inside Brainex and rewires the time-viewer into a time machine! As Villo turns gigantic, all four Challs vanish! They reappear, hale and hearty, as they rush the Villa for the second time, but it zooms off. Oh, well, next time. But "didn't we do this already?"
