Characters Challengers of the Unknown [Ace Morgan; Rocky Davis; Prof Haley; Red Ryan]; Scientist-X; Dimension-Man; The Iron Dictator; Neo-Nazis
Synopsis A mental compulsion makes the Challengers fly to a remote futuristic laboratory. It's trashed. A recorded message from Scientist X says the team can find his horde of valuable inventions by solving the clues "sound, substance, and light." The Challs are bushwhacked by Dimension-Man, who can punch but fade away. A crook, D-Man stole the dimension-walking device, but he wants the other inventions. He pulls out of limbo the Iron Dictator, a crackpot Hitler-wannabe spirited away by Scientist X. The Challs research. Scientist X was a giant alien who came to help Earth develop life-saving inventions more quickly. Music "sound" points to the letter "C" or "sea". Overlaid maps point to a small Pacific island. The Iron Dictator sics a alien monster on the Challs, but D-Man banishes it. He needs the Challs alive. He sends Iron Dictator and his Neo-Nazis to rob a bank. The Challs break that up, but black out. Later a projector shows some Challenger being brainwashed by D-Man. So who's the traitor? Nobody: it's a red herring. The Challs slam free of Nazis and fly beneath "substance" into the ocean. They find an alien headquarters that triggers open with "light". This huge place, stuffed full of alien inventions, can be their new headquarters! The narrator warns, "Don't forget D-Man and Iron Dictator are still looking for you!"
