Characters Superboy [also as Kal-El]; Jor-El; Lara; Krypto; Martha Kent; Jonathan Kent; Krypton
Synopsis Using his Mind Prober Ray, Superboy recalls the events of a day of his life as young Kal-El on Krypton. His father Jor-El had put Krypto into a test rocket and sent him into space, but was unable to bring him back. Baby Kal-El got so upset that Lara took the child and left Jor-El. Together Lara and Kal-El visited the Hall of Worlds where young Kal got to fly around a mock-up of the town of Smallville which included the Kent General Store and figures of Jonathan and Martha Kent. Later, Lara and Kal ended up at a public celebration of Krypton's Six Billionth Birthday, where speakers explained that Krypton would live forever, despite what fools like Jor-El might say. Knowing Jor-El wasn't a fool, Lara decided to return to him, but not before Kal got to the launching panel of a birthday celebration rocket and set it off early, making it bump into Krypto's rocket and sending it back to Krypton.
