Synopsis When Shadow Lass accidentally releases Mordru, four Legionnaires flee to Superboy's time to hide from him. When a group of gangsters tries to take over Smallville, and the Legionnaires encourage the townspeople to defend themselves, the Legionnaires realize they need to return to the future to face Mordru. But as they prepare to time travel, Mordru finds them.

Mordru captures and convicts the Legionnaires in a kangaroo court, but with the aid of the prosecutor, they escape, and Mordru is buried once again.
