Synopsis Clyde Didit's hippie style inspires Melody to imitate his fashion choices and lack of shoes. Mr. Tuttle figures out a way to curb this outbreak of nonconformism without risking violence. Violence ensues anyway when Pepper and Sock accidentally blow up the chemistry lab, filling the school with tear gas. Alex offers the use of his mansion while the school is being aired out, but while the other students are using Mr. Cabot's indoor swimming pool as study hall, Alex and Josie drive a snow plow right into the house.
