Characters Wonder Woman [Diana Prince]; Steve Trevor; Etta Candy & the Holiday Girls; Eric Lander (villain).
Synopsis Steve shows Diana a newspaper announcement concerning the dedication ceremonies of a Global War Heroes monument that Wonder Woman is supposed to speak at. Wonder Woman is about to speak when the monument blows up, but mysteriously, as the debris clears, the monument is still intact, then disappears in a column of black smoke. Wonder Woman finally gets to the bottom of the mystery, when she comes face to face with Eric Lander, an American-born man of German descent, who has invented a silent, self-camouflaging space bomber that he intends to terrorize the U.S. with!

Characters Mutt; Jeff
Synopsis In the first cartoon, Mutt attends an auction to bid on an old family heirloom. In the second, Mutt is a lifeguard who saves a beautiful gal, who kisses Mutt in thanks, and he gets a black eye from his wife over it. Later, he saves a rather fat woman and, when she asks his name, gives her Jeff's name instead. Later Jeff shows off the usual lipstick thanks, plus the new car and a a check for $500 for saving her! In the third cartoon, Mutt, his wife and son are out fishing, and she catches a fish that pulls her in the water. Later, the same thing happens to Mutt....then his wife falls into the water, and she says she was looking to see if any fish were in the lake.....junior, seeing this, dives in too! In the fourth cartoon, Jeff is walking along the beach and notices several femail lifeguards, so he jumps in the water and pretends he is drowning. Mutt notices what happens and tries the same thing, only to have his wife jump in and berate him for bothering those poor young things.

Synopsis Bananas brags to his prisoner, the Witch, and tells her how he got into the rackets, having been born in Satan's Basement on the east side, and spending his days swiping bananas, which then leads him to become a crime boss, thinking up crackerjack crimes that the King finds interesting. Unfortunately, bananas, which he likes so much, leads to his downfall.

6 page Hop Harrigan story "A Little Savage Revenge"

Characters Hop Harrigan; Tank Tinker; the Japanese (villains, some D).
Synopsis Hop and Tank are cruising over the South Seas on a scouting mission when they spot a group of Japanese planes below them attacking a peaceful native outrigger canoe. Hop lands and rescues the native, but the Japanese see this and attack Hop's plane. Hop flees, but suddenly loses consciousness and wakes a prisoner of the natives, who are going to kill him and Tank. Suddenly, the Japanese air commander arrives on the scene and demands that Hop & Tank be turned over to him. Quick-thinking Tank turns the natives against the Japanese, who are attacked and beaten. Hop radios his own forces from one of the Zeros and is rescued.

Characters Nora (the housekeeper); Mr. Arnold (death); Joe Merwin (villain).
Synopsis Nora gets an envelope from a stranger containing a ticket to a performance at the Castle Theatre. She gets dressed, says goodnight to her employer, Mr. Arnold, and leaves. A shadowy figure across the street comes to the door, which Arnold opens and he sees a man he knows....a dishonet fire inspector, Joe Merwin, who pulls a gun on Arnold and kills him. Merwin wipes the gun clean, places it in the dead man's hand, believing that Nora would think Arnold had committed suicide. Unfortunately for him, a Policeman throws open the door....Merwin jumps out the window and the Policeman fires at him, hitting him. Merwin fires back, but is finally subdued, and he asks how the Police knew he had committed the crime. The Policeman showed him Nora, whose dress was burnt and singed from a fire at the Castle Theatre, and whom the Police were detailed to bring home. So it was Merwin himself who confessed to the crime.

But Sargon helps get Brown appointed as a prosecutor, and now Brown has the chance to nail the Tyrone mob and become the success he wants to be.

Characters Hop Harrigan; Tank Tinker; Charlie Thunderbird (D); Major Sharp; the Japanese (villains, some D).
Synopsis Major Sharp chews Hop out for going on a mission with an Apache Indian, Charlie Thunderbird, who is killed in the line of duty, and who displayed great heroism. The Major wants to award Charlie a medal and give it to the next of kin, but Hop replies he had no next of kin. After Hop leaves the office, Major Sharp sadly reaches into his desk drawer and pulls out a picture of Charlie Thunderbird in a silver frame with air wings at the bottom, and inscribed: "Apaches are warriors.....warriors die young.....your loving brother, Charlie T. Sharp!"
