Notes The first appearance of this feature, which became a regular part of this title. Eda Edwards, wife of veteran Archie artist Joe Edwards, explained in Alter Ego magazine in January 2009 that she answered the reader mail in the voice of the characters for this and other features like "Dear Betty and Veronica." She wrote: "I became the Dear Abby of the Archie world, answering letters from kids all over the globe. I went through the tons of mail that was sent to us by Archie Comics and answered as many as the page permitted. Joe did the lettering."
