Characters Marge; Sally Croft; Alan Grafton
Synopsis Marge was from the wrong side of the tracks, and wealthy Sally Croft would never let her forget it. Sally did whatever she could to keep Marge out of all the popular clubs at school. Marge felt so badly that one day, after school, she broke down in tears. Alan Grafton, another wealthy school mate, stopped and offered to drive her home. On the way, he asked Marge out and she was ecstatic to have one up on Sally. But, to her amazement, whenever Alan took her out, he took her to remote, expensive places where no school friends would see them. When Marge asked Alan why he had not asked her to the dance, Alan told her that he had already asked Sally and that his parents expected him to date someone like Sally. Infuriated, Marge insisted that Alan take her home, but impulsively Alan insisted they get married yet even then, he wanted to hide it from his parents. Finally, Marge learned that she was pregnant, and they had to tell their parents, only to have Alan's family disown him. Marge had to drop out of school, and when graduation came she went for Alan realizing that they had no money, and in a few months a baby would be born unwanted by the father.

5 page story "One Night of Danger"

Characters Pat; Johnny Blaine; Mike Morse
Synopsis Pat liked Johnny Blaine but was not ready to go steady... especially when Mike Morse offered to drive her home in his new car. She thrived on that attention and Johnny was the jealous type, so Pat used that as an excuse when Mike called and she accepted his invitation to the dance. After the dance, they drove off to be alone and kissed. While Pat was excited by what was happening, she asked Mike to stop, and that threw him into a rage. Starting the engine and roaring off, he drove wildly hitting a man walking by the side of the road. Pat screamed for him to stop, but Mike kept going, and when he got home he told her to keep her mouth shut. Unable to think, she told Johnny what had happened, and he told her she had to turn herself in. Outside of the court house, Johnny told Pat how brave she had been. In reply, she said that she doesn't deserve his love, but will cherish it if offered.

Characters Janet Lansing; Tom McCoy; Dean Evans
Synopsis Tom McCoy was the youngest and best looking teacher on campus. After history class, Janet Lansing stayed behind to speak to her favorite teacher. As they spoke, sparks flew and they kissed. Immediately Tom withdrew, explaining that he was not only 10 years older than Janet, but her teacher. Behavior like that was not acceptable. While they were both in love, they agreed it was best to wait for her to graduate. That was fine for a while, but Janet became impatient. Visiting Tom's apartment, the landlady discovered Janet. Word spread fast and the claim that he was corrupting "a baby" reached Dean Evans who immediately fired Tom. When she hears that, Janet pleaded with the Dean, saying it was all her fault. Feling disgraced, Janet decided to leave town and was at the train station when Tom found her. Taking her in his arms he told her, "Graduate, and when you turn 18, I will be here to marry you."
