Proteus arrives in the world of Future Imperfect in the form of Hulk 2099 where he meets Rick Jones; Rick decides to pit one Hulk against the other and sends Proteus to battle the tyrant Maestro; Unfortunately, the Exiles have arrived and figure that Maestro is their perfect shot at taking down Proteus and forewarn him about the attack. |
