Synopsis Darkseid explains to his newly-arrived counterpart that he has had him brought from the distant past so that his experienced mind can be combined with his counterpart's young body. Though the universe is collapsing across time due to this manipulation, Darkseid explains that he has had his servants gather dark matter to deflect the wave of collapsing time. But the younger Darkseid doesn't like the plan and calls the Legion to his side in a fight against his older rival. During the grand fight on Apokalips, the Legionnaires left on Legion World formulate a plan to get back in time before the key event which caused the collapse of time. But before they can make their way to Apokalips, the younger Darkseid grabs Orion and turns his son's power on his older self.
