| Synopsis | Thanos and the Surfer become unlikely allies in the face of the threat the Goddess poses; The Goddess sends her followers to drop a bomb in Avenger's HQ but the acolytes find the complex empty when they arrive; That's because the Avengers and their allies are on the way to Paradise Omega in modified Quinjets; Thanos explains his plans to the heroes and, with the help of a powered up Silver Surfer, they are able to make planetfall on the Goddess' world; The heroes prepare to battle their mind controlled former friends and allies; Within the Soul Gem, Adam Warlock petitions the Magus for his help. |
