Synopsis The Spectre temporarily destroys Darkseid while rescuing a girl on Apokolips, but Darkseid is reconstituted by another power (perhaps The Source). The Spectre then learns why the universe needs Darkseid, during a visit to the Source, after which a part of The Spectre remains in The Promethean Wall.
