A gathering of reserve Avengers discover that the High Evolutionary is up to no good and head deep under the ocean to confront him; They encounter Attuma attacking the Lemurians and convince both of the warring factions to help in their quest; The Beast tricks the human Gatherers into rebelling against the animilistic New Men; The Avengers confront the High Evolutionary and utilize his own equipment to empower Hercules so he can take the villain down; Jocasta sacrifices herself to stop the Evolutionary's bomb that would mutate every human on earth. |
