Synopsis While the heroes battle Magneto's forces, Dr. Strange slips in to confront Wanda who has created the House of M reality; Strange discovers that it was Quicksilver and not Magneto who talked the Scarlet Witch into creating a world where mutants rule; Hawkeye shows up to kill Wanda but she discorporates him; Magneto is mind zapped by Layla Miller and learns the truth about the House of M; He attacks his son for helping make this new twisted reality but this only succeeds in making the Wanda more scared and confused; Reaching a conclusion based on her mind's faulty logic, she proclaims, "No more mutants," and the world ends in a blinding flash.
