Later rewritten by L.Sprague DeCamp and published in THE COMING OF CONAN (Gnome Press, 1953), FANTASY FICTION #1 August 1953), FANTASTIC UNIVERSE #1 (December 1956) and CONAN OF CIMMERIA (Lancer paperback, 1969).
