"Years Ago!" with art by Jay Scott Pike - Jane and Larry are in love, but she doesn't feel he's ambitious enough. She marries politician Paul instead. Paul eventually becomes governor, but their marriage is loveless. Jane visits a carnival, alone, and sees Larry with his wife and two children. He's content with his life, while for Jane it's "too late for everything but tears!" Plus: "A Dime a Dance" with art by John Forte - Sheila comes from an impoverished background and dislikes her job in a dime-a-dance joint. When wealthy Jimmy and some friends come in, she recognises him and decides he's her ticket out of this life. They date and Jimmy falls for her. Jimmy's older brother Keith tries to dissuade Sheila, even offers to pay her off, but she refuses. Sheila's actually in love with Keith, and when she tears up the check he offers, he realises he loves her too. Also: "Too Much in Love" with art by Sam Citron - Alice and Joe are co-workers and in love. Bob, nephew of their boss, tells Alice he'll put in a good word for Joe if she dates him. She agrees, but Joe spoils it by punching Bob. Money is missing from the office safe and Bob tries to frame Joe for the crime, but finally confesses that he did it out of jealousy. Joe is given a promotion and now he can marry Alice. And: "Shall I Marry Him?" with art by Jay Scott Pike - Kitty and Joe are in love, but she thinks he's self-conscious because she's taller than he is. It doesn't matter to her, because she loves him, but she's afraid he'll never ask her to be his wife. Bill finally asks and she accepts his proposal.
