Since Thalia is searching for the richest possible boyfriend, Dobie begins to imagine ways to get her to settle for him starting with him as a caveman and her as a cavewoman. Dobie then imagines Thalia and himself in colonial times. Finally, Maynard imagines Dobie with a genie (played by Maynard), who ends up stealing Thalia. But in the real world, Thalia finds her rich boy isn't so rich and returns to Dobie's arm in The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis tale (untitled; complete in three parts). Characters in this story: Dobie Gillis; Thalia Menninger; Maynard G. Krebs; Milton Armitage; Darwin Dundervent. Plus: "On the Job...Part Time," "The Beat Set" and "Teen Age" 1-pagers by Mort Drucker.
