Swee'pea decides he wants soup for breakfast. Olive wants to be a hostess at Popeye's "spinburger" stand. Olive tries to make Popeye jealous by dancing with everyone but him. Olive gets a job as a waitress at Rough-House's restaurant. Popeye tries to cheer up Swee'pea after the Navy refused to accept him. Geezil, in a fit of generosity, offers to pay Wimpy's hamburger bill. Wimpy disguises himself so that he can be hired as a counterman at Rough-House's diner.
