This issue is based on Ivanhoe, a 1952 MGM adventure film based, in turn, on the Walter Scott novel. Returning to England after the Crusades, Ivanhoe romances Rowena and becomes involved in the uprising against evil Prince John. When the struggle against John's forces escalates into violence, no less a personage than Robin Hood himself appears to join Ivanhoe in the conflict. Plus photo stills from the film.
