Commemorative envelope celebrating the initial flight of the Douglas B-19 Superbomber June 27, 1941. The test flight was from Santa Monica, CA to Riverside, CA. The B-19 was never used in WWII but did aid greatly in the development of the B-29 Superfortress. Envelope measures 9 1/2-in. x 4-in. and is postmarked March Field.
