At the circus, Linda springs into action as Black Cat when Rick is captured by killer clowns working for the evil Dr. Zant. Linda and her father help a "juvenile delinquent" they catch trying to rob his house. Black Cat demonstrates judo holds for the reader in an educational strip. Both of these last two stories were specifically mentioned in the text at the conclusion of chapter 7 of the anti-comics classic "Seduction of the Innocent."
