It's Simply Celestial (1947) was a promotional comic book published by Sealtest Ice Cream. We are introduced to "Ginny, the cutest little trick this side of a dream" (it was a much more innocent time). We soon learn that in order to have lovely hair, beautiful teeth, clear eyes, and fair skin you need the basic foods found in ice cream, and that butter has been proved by scientific research to stimulate the appetite and delight the taste-buds (huh? Butter taste good...what a novel idea), as well as all sorts of other good news about Sealtest products. Definitely a fun read for the entertainment value alone if for nothing else. 24 pages, full color, card stock paper, 5.5-in. x 7.5-in.
