    Reprint, unknown printing, 1939. Written by Fran Striker. Frontispiece and endpapers by Paul Laune. Number three in the series. Maroon cloth boards, black stamped titles and art (first edition has back flap with listing of Western Stories for Boys and brown cloth with red stamping). A town's bank is robbed and the lawmen of the town go after the wrong party. The Lone Ranger and Tonto however, because of a clue they found before arriving, are on the trail of the real robbers. Hardcover with dust jacket. 5 1/4-in. x 7 1/4-in., 186 pages, B&W text.
