Dr. Frankenbeans is back and he wants revenge against the Madballs. So he goes to Miss Tic the Mystic for help who hypnotizes the Madballs into obeying Dr. Frankenbeans in "Dr Frankenbeans Returns." Issue also has "Meet Weirdbeard the Pirate" in which Weirdbeard snatches the kids to be his pirate crew and it's the Madballs to the rescue. After Dr. Frankenbeans discovers how the Madballs were created, he makes some evil versions, Smasher, Crasher and Thrasher, to destroy the Madballs and do all of his dirty work in "Attack of the Bad Balls."
