Story by J. P. McEvoy. Art by John Striebel and Ham Fisher. Reprints of the long-running comic strip, featuring a former showbiz star who encounters adventure and, sometimes, romance. This issue reprints the storyline where Dixie is dating a would-be boxer. To help him train, Dixie enlists the aid of champion boxer Joe Palooka (also a part of the McNaught comics syndicate). Joe Palooka artist Ham Fisher obliged by providing the Palooka art in these strips, creating one of the earliest crossovers in comics. 68 pages, Full Color. Cover price $0.10.
