The comic adventures of Smiley Burnette, best known as the sidekick to Gene Autry, Roy Rogers, and other movie cowboys. Smiley discovers the downside of freedom of the press when offended outlaws decide to smash his printing press, and he must bear arms to defend it. Young Red Eagle is named chieftain of the Canuga, but to prove himself, he must rescue White Cloud's son from a pack of wolves.
