Art by Golden Age Superman artist Fred Ray. 20 pages, magazine-sized, cardstock cover, black and white interior with color highlights. In 1814, the British captured Washington and burned the White House, then marched on Baltimore. As the British bombarded Ft. McHenry, Francis Scott Key wrote the Star-Spangled Banner. The Star-Spangled Banner was officially adopted as our national anthem on March 31, 1931 by an act of Congress. The full words to the Star-Spangled Banner are printed on the back cover.
