    Fighting Hero Comics (1967) is a fanzine published by SFCA. Color cover by Buddy Saunders. All reprints: the Demon in "The Tower Doom of Venus" (script and art by Buddy Saunders; from Fighting Hero Comics # 6), the Eye in "The Eye Unmasked" (script and art by Biljo White; from FHC 10), an untitled "Demon" story (by Saunders), "The Black Scorpion" (script by Raymond Miller, art by Howard Keltner), and The Demon in "The Books of Nimrath" (by Saunders; from FHC 4). 48 pages, color cover with black and white illustrations, 8-in x 10.75-in.     Fighting Hero Comics No. 10 (1964), the first fanzine devoted entirely to amateur comic strips. The brainchild of G.B. Love, it served as a companion zine to the Rocket's Blast (soon to become the RBCC) adzine he published. Historic significance and features include: The 2nd appearance of The Eye in a classic cover and amazing strip by fandom great Biljo White. Includes a letter from a young fanboy named George R. R. Martin, who is now a fabulously successful Hugo award winning novelist; a note from bronze-age Marvel artist Al Milgrom; and one from big name fan Jeremy Barry. 12 pgs, ditto. 20-cent cover price.     Fighting Hero Comics #12 (1964) was the first fanzine devoted entirely to amateur comic strips. The brainchild of G.B. Love, it served as a companion fanzine to the Rocket's Blast (soon to become the RBCC) adzine he published. Historic significance and features include: Dimension Man classic cover and strip by legendary artist Ronn Foss. Dimension Man was one of the first ama-hero strips ever produced. Created by Foss and Parley Holman in Holman's Spotlite #1 (1961), the character became very popular, showing up in other early fanzines including the original Alter Ego. Ditto printed.
