In one of three stories this issue with art by Spider-Man co-creator Steve Ditko, a Colonial settler frames and murders a Native American, but then his family is cursed to die the same way, even until modern times. In another Ditko story, Larry's surfer friends are freaked out by the ghostly image of the Phantom Surfer.
